The word mathematics originated from Greek (mathema) that roughly translates to “that which is learnt”, or “what one gets to know” or “lesson”.  Aristotle defined the subject as “the science of quantity” and Gauss referred to it as “Queen of Sciences”. Gaining skill in mathematics helps students excel in many academic fields such as as natural science, physics, chemistry, engineering, medicine, finance, etc.

At Samvid, students are taught techniques and skills in a small class setting that can offer learning experience building up their confidence and self-esteem in solving problems.  Students in small groups (1:6-8 ratio) and are constantly motivated to participate that helps in improving their skills in solving problems systematically and logically. The classes focus on helping students overcome their challenges in their school and guide them to catch up with their current school topics before moving on to enrichment and enhancement. When needed, classes are scheduled for individual training and attention for reinforcement of ideas.
