Niranjan Balachandar, Vishal and Nisha Rajesh excels at Exxon Mobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair

SAMVID student Niranjan Balachandar won the first place math awards at this year’s state science and engineering fair at San Antonio held on April 12. Niranjan continued his previous years work on “Simulation of Protein Folding using Monte Carlo Methods in a Triangular Lattice”.

Vishal and Nisha Rajesh participated as a team and won the third place for their work on "Fire Fighting at Work: A Simulation of Envelope Fire Fronts and Locational Fuel Treatment"
